Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused blackouts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.
Nine people were hurt while local people in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced problems to drinking water, according to city officials.
At the same time, a minor was fatally injured in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the country's south-east, according to area administrators.
Moscow has increased strikes on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.
"What's needed is not window dressing but firm measures - from the US, European nations and the major economies - in providing protection systems and applying restrictions," was stated in a public message.
Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty missiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as winter approaches.
Government representatives said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were working to fix the damage.
A barrage of missiles hit power facilities and residential structures in the capital.
Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, according to city authorities.
Regional authorities said the urban area experienced intense attacks overnight. A minor died and three other people were hurt.
The attacks come after periods of bombing campaigns in the region, sections of which remain under the control of Russian forces.
The whole nation is under warning for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to identify.
Authorities told journalists that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting gas facilities.
Officials stated technical personnel and government agencies were preparing for further attacks.
